The Mustard Cafe has has six locations throughout California. The first location was opened in Irvine, CA in 2002. The creators started the Cafe in hopes to create a "New York Style Sandwich" that is available here in California. This Cafe is a quick and casual bite to eat, and they use fine quality Boar's Head Meats and Cheeses. We really enjoyed our food at the Mustard Cafe, and strongly recommend this place. It is a great place to grab a quick bite to eat and there are so many choices and fresh ingredients. Mustard Cafe truly brings the big city feel to the small and quaint Circle of Orange!

Aldo's Ristorante-Bar

Intimate, romantic and great food...Aldo's has it all, including many Italian dishes. Every Tuesday night Aldo's offers its guest a special of unlimited Pasta dishes of the most popular name Spaghetti and Meatballs. Enjoy the Italian wine list for either lunch or dinner. Jalapenos is a great quick place in the circle to get some delicious authentic Mexican food. The service is fast and the food is delicious. The three of us all ordered different dishes, and each of them was great. We definitely suggest Jalapenos if you are looking to get a lot of good food for little money!

The Filling Station

The Filling Station is one of the most known restaurants in the Circle of Orange. What used to be a working gas station in the 1920's is now a quaint restaurant with good food and a memorable atmosphere. Located throughout the restaurant are old gas pumps that make the environment that much more distinct. The mission statement of The Filling Station states, " Our intent is to integrate our restaurants with the historical significance of each community in which we operate by creating a nostalgic atmosphere that reflects the local communities history and heritage." Overall, The Filling Station is a Circle of Orange classic! It is the perfect restaurant to absorb the atmosphere that Old Town Orange has to offer. The food is delicious, as well as inexpensive, and the patio is a wonderful place to sit out on a sunny day. We really recommend this place, go out and try it!

Rutabegorz

Rutabegorz in the Circle of Orange is the newest location and has instantly become a local favorite. Paul Berkman, owner of Rutabegorz, began his business plan of opening a cafe that might "cater to a more pensive crowd of college students looking for a more comfortable place to mingle" in 1970 along with four other college students. What began in Old Town Fullerton as just a small cafe serving coffee and desserts has now grown to three successful branches specializing in providing "The community with a healthy alternative to traditional restaurant offerings, without sacrificing taste." Gabbi's Mexican Kitchen

Gabbi's is a privately owned restaurant started by chef Gabbi Patrick. "Using only the freshest ingredients available, Gabbi creates cuisine derived from her own culinary experience combined with her extensive travels throughout Mexico. The results are enticing contemporary interpretations of authentic moles, classic dishes and revisited and re-invented “Old World,” Mayan & Aztec recipes." (Gabbimex.com)

This restaurant is hidden on the street of Glassell, and while it has no sign above its brick walls, once found it is very hard to forget.
