Rutabegorz

Rutabegorz in the Circle of Orange is the newest location and has instantly become a local favorite. Paul Berkman, owner of Rutabegorz, began his business plan of opening a cafe that might "cater to a more pensive crowd of college students looking for a more comfortable place to mingle" in 1970 along with four other college students. What began in Old Town Fullerton as just a small cafe serving coffee and desserts has now grown to three successful branches specializing in providing "The community with a healthy alternative to traditional restaurant offerings, without sacrificing taste." Rutabegorz strives to "make your own experience positive, and hope you'll enjoy our unique food, casual atmosphere, and friendly servers." (rutabegorz.com)
